What is a Vape Coil?
A vape coil is a crucial part of your vaping device. It’s essentially a wire wrapped in a cotton wick that soaks up your e-liquid. When you activate your device, the coil heats up, turning the liquid into vapour.
Coils come in different resistance levels (ohms), allowing you to personalise your vaping experience. Lower resistances provide warmer vapour and larger clouds, while higher resistances suit cooler vapour and mouth-to-lung styles.
When Should You Replace Your Coil?
The lifespan of your coil depends on how much and how often you vape, as well as the type of e-liquid you use. Signs of a worn-out coil include reduced flavour and a burnt taste. Here's a rough guide:
- Heavy Vapers: Coils may last 5–6 days.
- Moderate Vapers: Coils can last up to 2 weeks.
- Light Vapers: Coils might last up to 3 weeks.
Keep an eye on your flavour and vapour quality to know when it’s time for a change.
