What is an e-cigarette?

An e-cigarette is a device which is used to heat the liquid containing the nicotine to a level that is vapable.
The device is made up of a battery for power, clearomiser heating the liquid and within the clearomiser is a replaceable coil.

What is the cost?

The costs of electronic cigarettes varies but a good starter kit you can pick up from approximately £20-£50.
Price is dependent on brand, battery life, build quality and functionality.

What do I need to get started?

If your serious about giving up smoking we recommend that you select a starter kit.
Also with the starter kit you will need to purchase some liquid of your choice.

What is the best starter kit?

The best starter kit is either the Gecko or the Pockex. When trying to quit smoking we have found these to be the most helpful.

E-Liquids

Most E-Liquid consists of Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, flavourings, nicotine
Some Juices are 100% VG which means they contain no Propylene Glycol.

  • Propylene Glycol (PG):
    Propylene Glycol is high quality pharmaceutical grade and the ingredient that gives the throat hit.
  • Vegetable Glycerine (VG):
    Glycerine helps to produce more vapour and holds more flavour.
  • VG is thicker
    What VG ratio will be good for my device. Generally speaking starter kits you will you 50% VG or less and the VG content is highlighted on our products.

What nicotine strength should I choose?

As a beginner vaper with a starter kit and 50% or less VG we would recommend

  • 6mg if you are vaping 10 or less cigarettes a day
  • 12mg if you are vaping 11 to 19 cigarettes a day
  • 18mg if you are vaping 20 or more cigarettes a day

How long does a 10ml bottle of E-Liquid last?

A 10ml bottle should last you approximately 3-7 days, this is for an average user. If your vaping constantly and getting through the liquids faster than 3 days it could mean the nicotine strength is low.

BATTERY

My battery won’t charge?

If your battery is not charging it may be due to a number of different factors.

  • Make sure your using the correct charger which came with the device
  • Some batteries are external and they will need to be charged with a charger

My battery won’t turn on?

Most new devices come with a factory charge. However, the charge sometimes can be low and all you may need is a full recharge.
Devices are different and in most there are two common ways to turn the battery on and these will be highlighted in the manual which applies:

  • Click the power button rapidly three times
  • Click the power button rapidly five times

How long do batteries last?

Products sold on our site will typically will last a whole day of vaping. We use these devices and have no issues. If you are using it excessively and the battery is running out then this could mean your nicotine strength may not be sufficient which will have you vaping a lot more.
